The Celebrate A Life tree was beautiful! 301 message laden butterflies in memory of loved ones graced our tree located at Minter Country Gardens during the month of December. Celebrate A Life is a compassionate service to the community enabling people to remember someone they are missing or to express their grief during the emotional Christmas season. Although we are pleased to offer this free service, the $1325.00 in donations we received for the work of hospice was greatly appreciated.

We are very grateful to Minter Country Gardens for hosting our tree and to the many hospice volunteers who attended the Celebrate A Life table. A special thank you to those who shared their memories.

Celebrate a Life 2007 was held December 7 – 21 at Minter Country Garden

Visitors were invited to place a butterfly on the Christmas tree in memory of their loved ones. A total of 114 Volunteers helped out for this event. 234 butterflies were placed on the tree during these 2 weeks and over $800 were given in donations to the work and services of Chilliwack Hospice Society.
