Volunteer at Chilliwack Hospice

Chilliwack Hospice Society has a variety of volunteer opportunities: Administrative Volunteers, Thrift Store Volunteers, Events, Fundraising, Grounds and Building Maintenance, and Client and Patient Volunteers.

Administrative Volunteers: If you enjoy an office setting we have volunteering opportunities for you! We are in need of office volunteers who are comfortable working with Microsoft Office programs, answering phones and newsletter preparation. If you are interested, please call Tammy Genzale at (604) 795-4660 or email tammy@chilliwackhospice.org with your area of interest.

Thrifty Boutique Volunteers: If you have a flare for fashion, enjoy designing displays, organizing donations, can identify treasures, enjoy meeting new people and work well on a team, the Thrifty Boutique would love to have you join them! The support offered by volunteers in our Thrift Store is a vital part of Hospice. Joining our team promises to be full of opportunity, rich with creative possibilities and personal connections. Please contact Lori-Ann Mark at (604) 846-2226 or email Lori-Ann at thriftyboutique@chilliwackhospice.org if you would like to support your community and Chilliwack Hospice Society in this way.

Event and Fundraising Volunteers: If you enjoy being out in the community and promoting the work of Chilliwack Hospice Society, then there are many opportunities for you. Annually, we hold two major fundraisers: Hike for Hospice in May and November Night Gala. We also participate in community events like the Christmas Parade and host information tables at hockey games, grocery stores and the Home Show. If you would like to be involved in this area, please contact us at (604)795-4660 or by email info@chilliwackhospice.org.

Grounds and Maintenance: As each season changes, we have opportunities to help inside and outside at our Chilliwack Hospice Society's Rotary Center. If you like to work with your hands and don't mind a little dirt sometimes, this could be the place for you. Please contact Tammy Genzale at (604) 795-4660 or email tammy@chilliwackhospice.org for more information.
